Circulo de Leitura QUARTA DA-feira 17 de Junho
Spring lets its perfumes for the summer and can be reached at the Library of Mile-End, ony takes its place. In June, an author and a Portuguese Angolan make us see the nuances and flexibility of the English language. The first, Jose Eduardo Agualusa , Angolan writer and journalist, showed a passion to create a publishing house called "Common Speech", dedicated solely to the authors speaking. On the other hand, Antonio Lobo Antunes , coming from the Portuguese bourgeoisie who began writing at age thirteen and has also developed a keen interest in French literature. Author of an acid style, contrary to the values oppressors, Ali says that his novels are an exercise in controlled deĆrio. To learn more about these authors and their works, the group des Arts Arena awaits next June 17 at the Library of Mile End, 18h, for our third Reading Circle.
